Reporting to the Director of Imaging, the Lead CT Imaging Technologist is a working team leader responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages and takes the lead position for a predestinated shift. They must have working knowledge of conventional Radiology and CT. They take responsibility for the shift performance and quality of studies.
The Lead must be able to operate all CT equipment and process studies, and be able to precept Imaging Students during designated shifts. Assures the preparation of exam room(s), equipment, supplies and medications for patient’s procedures. Responsible for patient education.

Requirements
- 2 years experience in CT
- 1 year experience as fully qualified CT Technologist at this facility
- Licensed and hold current certification in Radiological Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health
- Licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT)
- Obtain California Fluoroscopy permit within six months of hire
- Possess ARRT CT license
- Current BLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Serve as working team leader responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages
- Take the lead position for a predestinated shift
- Operate all CT equipment and process studies
- Precept Imaging Students during designated shifts
- Assure preparation of exam room(s), equipment, supplies and medications for patient procedures
- Provide patient education
- Take responsibility for shift performance and quality of studies
- Assist with application and maintenance of ACR accreditation
