About this role
Under the direction of a physician, the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist applies the art and skill of diagnostic MR imaging through safe and effective usage of all equipment. Responsibilities include patient contact, preparation and administration of IV contrast materials, and knowledge of magnetic imaging. Patient imaging procedures involve computer processing, image enhancements, quality control, and magnetic safety.
Perform all MR procedures per department protocol and demonstrate complete competence with MRI diagnostic exams and all MRI equipment. Execute essential RIS/HIS functions and assist radiologist in all appropriate procedures. Ensure high standards in every aspect of MR imaging.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- 1-2 years experience
- ARRT registration in MRI or obtain within 365 days
- BLS certification within 30 days
- Current CEUs per requirements upon hire
