As the Lead CT Diagnostic Radiographer, you will lead and develop the service at the centre to ensure all operational objectives and standards are achieved. Excellent customer treatment and service must be delivered at all times. You will manage people and deliver process innovation with drive and tenacity while maintaining positive relationships.

You will lead the clinical and non-clinical team in all aspects of diagnostic imaging services, supporting patients receiving CT, general x-rays, ultrasound, MRI or mammography. Responsibility for the CT sits under the Lead Diagnostic Radiographer. Play an active role in the senior management team within the centre.

Support clinician and GP engagement to increase activity and performance of diagnostic services. Work in partnership with the Outpatient Lead Nurse in delivering rapid access clinics to support business growth. Requirements

Significant post qualification experience
Significant experience in CT
Experience in all aspects of diagnostic imaging to a very high level of competence
Evidence of service set up/development
Evidence of effective management of staff and co-operative working
DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography
HCPC registration
Sound understanding of governance

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the diagnostic service at the GenesisCare centre
Lead the clinical and non-clinical team in all aspects of the diagnostic imaging services and processes
Take responsibility for the CT service if no Molecular Imaging in centre
Support clinician and GP engagement, increasing activity and performance of the diagnostic services
Work in partnership with the Outpatient Lead Nurse in delivering rapid access clinics to support business growth
Ensure all operational objectives and standards are achieved with excellent customer treatment and service
Play an active role in the senior management team within the centre
