About this role

SEHA Al Ain Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist with a Tier 1 qualification to join our advanced radiology team. The successful candidate will lead and perform a wide range of image-guided, minimally invasive procedures. These contribute to excellence in patient care across vascular, oncologic, and emergency domains.

Daily work involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI guidance. Interpret imaging studies to support clinical decision-making and procedural planning. Proven expertise covers vascular and non-vascular interventions like biopsies, drainages, embolizations, and angioplasties.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, oncology, and emergency medicine. Ensure compliance with SEHA clinical governance, safety protocols, and patient-centered care standards. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in peer review and case discussions.

Participate in departmental audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research. Mentor junior radiologists and contribute to continuing medical education programs. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills drive commitment to clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Tier 1 Qualification in Radiology recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi and SEHA standards
  • Board Certification or equivalent in Interventional Radiology
  • Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience in a tertiary care setting
  • Valid HAAD/DOH license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Proven expertise in vascular and non-vascular interventions, including biopsies, drainages, embolizations, and angioplasties
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a commitment to clinical excellence
