Prime Healthcare is seeking Radiology Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to support and expand hospital-based imaging services across Greater Chicagoland area hospitals. Recruiting across multiple radiology service lines including Interventional and Breast Imaging / Mammography. Welcome candidates for collaborative, high-quality, patient-centered environment.

Hospital-based radiology practice features diverse case mix of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency imaging. Modern imaging equipment and advanced technology support daily workflows. Opportunities for full-time and part-time roles depending on position.

Strong collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams enhances patient care delivery. Advanced Practice Providers integrate within Interventional Radiology and procedural services. Multiple hospital locations throughout Greater Chicagoland area.

Physicians interpret diagnostic studies and perform procedures while participating in on-call coverage. Advanced Practice Providers assist with patient evaluations and coordinate care across teams. Focus on timely, high-quality reporting and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Fellowship training preferred for subspecialty roles (IR, Breast Imaging)
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges and credentialing
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • Active or eligible Illinois licensure
  • Experience in Radiology or Interventional Radiology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine as applicable)
  • Perform image-guided procedures (for Interventional Radiology roles)
  • Breast imaging interpretation and procedures (for Breast Imaging roles)
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure timely, high-quality patient care and reporting
  • Assist with Interventional Radiology and procedural services
  • Perform patient evaluations, follow-ups, and documentation
