About this role
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine are actively seeking a full-time pediatric interventional radiologist to join our growing Interventional Radiology practice. Our practice is one of the most robust IR practices in the U.S. focused solely on the care of children and adolescents. We oversee a dedicated pediatric interventional radiology fellowship with one fellow per year.
Plan, implement and evaluate the provision of high-quality medical care, with appropriate resource management, to children and adolescents in the respective clinical area. Operate five IR suites daily, including three bi-plane units and two single-plane units. Participate in a dedicated outpatient pediatric IR clinic staffed with a dedicated IR clinic nurse.
Join five full-time pediatric IR faculty positions and three IR advanced practice providers. Supported by a dedicated pediatric-trained anesthesia team at both hospitals daily. Participate in one of the largest multidisciplinary vascular anomalies clinics, performing more than 500 sclerotherapy procedures per year.

Requirements
- American Board of Radiology (ABR)-certified or board-eligible
- Completion of ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship in interventional radiology
- Additional subspecialty certification in pediatric interventional radiology preferred
- Experience in pediatric radiology procedures
- Ability to manage IR resources for high-volume pediatric cases
- Familiarity with bi-plane and single-plane IR units
Responsibilities
