Physician - Interventional Radiologist

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center are seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Radiologist fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology. Join a well-established, collegial practice of subspecialty-trained and general radiologists in the Department of Radiology. This Assistant or Associate level position combines teaching and patient care.

Perform a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume setting with 5,000 studies annually. Home to the only Level I Trauma center in the region, the practice utilizes the EPIC medical record platform. Physician leadership and input occur at all levels of administration.

Work within a robust academic environment including the School of Medicine, School of Graduate Studies, and School of Allied Health Professions. Train nearly 600 residents and fellows each year alongside more than 800 enrolled students. Participate in a strong research enterprise.

Emphasize teaching by providing vital leadership and guidance to medical students and residents. Be part of an IR integrated residency with early specialization in interventional radiology. This role offers opportunities for academic growth and impact in patient care.
