About this role

Fairfax Radiology Centers, the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia, is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to support Reston and Herndon imaging centers. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality ultrasound services in a collaborative outpatient setting. Your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise will help ensure every patient feels supported and cared for during their visit.

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform general ultrasound exams including OB (1st trimester), GYN, abdominal, and small parts. Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required. You will consistently acquire high-quality diagnostic images while delivering patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion.

This PRN opportunity offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with daytime weekday hours preferred in an outpatient setting with no call requirements. Requirements

  • RDMS certification required upon hire
  • BLS certification required
  • 1+ year of general ultrasound experience preferred - new graduates welcome
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic outpatient environment
