About this role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to join our inpatient rehabilitation hospital team. This role focuses on diagnostic imaging for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Many patients have mobility or medical complexity requiring bedside imaging.

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, vascular, and soft tissue studies. Conduct portable or bedside imaging for patients with limited mobility. Safely position and assist patients with physical or cognitive impairments to ensure comfort and accuracy.

Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate EMR documentation for effective patient care. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and therapy team members. Follow infection control, patient safety, and privacy standards in all activities.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Inpatient or rehab experience preferred
